Description
David begins his Monday morning commute each week by dropping off his teenage daughter at school. On his phone and stuck in traffic, he deals with irritating clients, stupid AA sponsers, and gets fired from his job, all before the ex-wife calls to tell him their duaghter has been taken to the hospital. Fighting traffic and an onslaught of calls, David furiously attempts to make it to the hospital as his daughter's condition worsens. Gridlock examines the claustrophobia and mementum of a pervasive cruelty and barbarism almost anyone could resort to at a moment's notice, unfolding over the course of one miserable morning along the Los Angeles freeways.
